Morning Walk

My kindy is a beautiful place.

It's got heaps of birdies ...

squirrels ... 

doggies ...  

kitties ...  

trees ...

and flowers!

If I didn't kick up a fuss waking up, we could actually reach school early and would have enough time for a nature walk around the area.

Today was one of those mornings :-)

Mommy was trying to capture an artistic angle of me on a bed of fallen flowers ...

And this is me pretending to pay my last respects to Leo the world cup lion.

And then my teacher comes ...

Time to go!

Monday Blues

Last week my daycare had a belated Hari Raya gathering.

While the 5-6 year olds entertained the parents and teachers ...

I preferred to do justice to the Baskin Robbins ice cream and ice cold syrup ...

Supervise the cleaners ...

And assume it's mommy's bring-your-kid-to-office day!

And before I knew it, it was Monday again ...

But we have been practising hard for a concert, and I hope to post some interesting pictures soon!

My Daily Weekday Routine

MORNING

• 6.30 Rise and shine! Open eyes, feel for comfort pillow or mommy. If neither is available, SCREAM!
• 6.31 Mommy rushes out from shower. Request for milk. Drink milk and toss bottle to nearest target
• 6.50 Barge into Wan's room and interrupt her prayers. Climb on papa and kiss him wherever reachable

• 6.55 Big ceremonious procession heading downstairs, toys, pillows and milk bottles included

• 7.00   Start playing catch with mommy to avoid shower
• 7.10   Mommy finally wins. Sit on toilet for mommy to:
• wash my feet;
• brush my teeth;
• shampoo my hair; and
• cover me in soap and rinse me off (strictly in that order)
• 7.15   Play catch with mommy again to avoid wearing diapers and uniform
• 7.25   Finally dressed. Drink water and take neccessary supplements

• 7.35   Kiss papa again. Leave for kindy. Watch cars, hold on to dear life at corners, ask for cookies ... YUM!
• 8.05   Reach kindy. Take own sweet time to get off car, chase cat and birds, and cross drains

• 8.10   Mommy leaves. Kindy starts!
• 10.30 Morning break ... YUM!
• 12.30 Kindy official hours over. Have lunch ... YUM! and playtime with friends and teachers

AFTERNOON

• 2.30   Mommy picks up to go to daycare.
• 2.45   Reach daycare. Insist on being carried to the sleeping area. Have a snooze

• 3.15   Wake up, bathe and tea time ... zzz ... YUM!
• 6.30   Mommy picks up - time to go home!
• 6.50   *yawn* still in the car ...  

NIGHT

• 7.10   Reach home. Mommy packs for tomorrow. Barge into Wan's room and interrupt her prayers and then continue at the dining table hee hee
• 7.45   Play catch with mommy to avoid shower again 

• 8.00   Have me time showering, YEAY! (extend as much as possible, insist on brushing teeth, more soap, bathing the crocodile and flushing the toilet)

8.20   Dinner ... YUM!

• 8.45   Big ceremonious procession heading upstairs, toys, pillows and milk bottles included
• 9.00   Settle down in Wan's room. Drink milk. Zzz ...
• 11.00 Look for mommy. Kiss papa and be kissed. Ask for milk. Continue sleeping in mommy's room. Zzz ...

See you tomorrow, brand new day!

Weekend happenings

Papa hasn't been around since last week for work ...

   

So I had to find things to do, since this was the only other alternative ...

 We went to the mall and I made friends with the big yellow man ...

 

Adopted a croc ... 

  

Attempted photography ... 

  

Spent time in wide open spaces ...

Experimented with flowers ...  

And got a tan!   

I miss you heaps papa! Come backkkkkkkkkk nowwww!!!



Movie Mania

Over the past week, I have developed a new habit: watching TV before sleep, in between sleep, and when I wake up from sleep.

 Since I have an average attention span of about 15 seconds, I never finish the movies and still manage to get my required number of hours of sleep.

However, my new habit drives papa and mommy nuts because they have to watch the same movies at least 3 times a day.

 These are two of my favorites so far:

I love George of the jungle because it has monkeys, elephants, and birds in the movie.

I like Monsters, Inc because I think I inspired the main character hee hee.

BOO!

The Thomas Affair

They're two they're four they're six they're eight
Shunting trucks and hauling freight
red and green and brown and blue
they're the really useful crew ...

 

I love Thomas the Tank Engine! So when he came into town last week, we went to meet him in person. Twice.

You have to spend RM80 to get your ride with Thomas. Mommy spent about half of that amount on Thomas wet tissues, since I am a big fan of wet tissues.

But who wants to sit in a train all alone?

I chose to drive it.
