The Reluctant Rabbit

As mentioned earlier, we had Teacher's Day celebration last Friday at kindy.

In the car, mommy tried to prep me for the part,

but bunny ears early in the morning is simply not my thing.



But after a bit of makeup, I guess long floppy ears aren't such a bad idea after all!



Me, Ayano and Kana also grew some whiskers. I think they really bring out my - um, cheeks.



My new favourite trick - never ever look at the camera when taking a picture. 

Note to mommy: Stock up on the costumes mom, my school is a lot more fun that yours!

Mommy lost her USB cable

There has been no posts lately because mommy lost her USB cable and therefore is unable to download interesting pictures from her phone.

She figured that people wouldn't read posts without pictures, but I think it is more of the fact that she cannot write very well without pictures.

Anyhoo ... let's hope she finds her USB cable back because tomorrow is Animal Day at kindy and I will go as a bunny yabbit!

I hope she buys me an accessory to complete the ensemble.

Happy Teacher's Day!

To all my teachers, here's a very big THANK YOU from me!!!

Have a great day to Miss Adrina, Miss Anne and Miss Yann Ling of Peter & Jane, and teachers Rini, Qila, Mas, Siti, Erma, Sarah, Murni and everyone at CDC!

Thank you for putting up with my morning tantrums, afternoon tantrums, evening tantrums, toilet training hiccups, spilt milk, oopsies, shrieking, smacking, defiance and everything only a 2-year-old could pack in a few hours of school.

Thank you for teaching me speak in English and Malay, count (ok consistently only up to 14 so far), name colors, remember Japanese names, recite the doa makan (mmm ok not yet, but i get the idea) and life skills like washing dishes and wiping the table (Wan is starting to find this REALLY handy).

Oh, and also thank you for putting up with my mommy and her never-ending requests. She appreciates you guys more than she would like to show heheh.  

Not forgetting the grannies - Wan, Tok Mak and Tok Ayah - no wonder you guys speak loudly and repeat things a lot.

I hope I would grow up smart and do you proud!

Happy birthday papa!!!!!!

It's papa's birthday today!

I don't have anything for him ... but I screamed loud enough to wake him up and gave him a BIG wet kiss this morning hee hee.

My papa is a man of many faces.

Meet The Grannies

My mommy and papa are teachers' children. Which is why they turn out rather skema-ish, but of course they think they are so happening.

This is me at about 8 months with papa's  mommy and papa.
